Our first generation ECO series of 37,300 dwt handy-size bulk carriers incorporate many design features considered desirable by charterers, including strengthened tank tops, Ice class 1C, CO2 fitted holds, mechanical hold ventilation and many other enhancements embodying future regulatory requirements. Our Tier 2 engines have been EEDI-rated by Lloyds Register and are approximately 12% more energy efficient than the mandated index. Double hull design facilitates hold cleaning.

The first vessels in a series of second generation ECO 38,500dwt “Green Dolphin” handy-size bulk carriers were delivered in May 2015. These vessels incorporate all the above features and have Tier 2 electronic engines optimized for slow steaming, which are rated approximately 28% more efficient than the Energy Efficiency Design Index.

Delivery of “Emerald 39” open hatch bulk carriers commenced in May 2016.

Technical Management of our vessels is carried out by Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement, www.bs-shipmanagement.com, one of the largest ship managers in the world.

Commercial management is undertaken in-house.
